Kada Meow At Giant Lantern Festival 2012

Due to Margot's intense desire to explore and experience various Philippine festivals with us, our first destination place came to be Pampanga's Giant Lantern Festival. Incidentally, this was also our barkada's first get together that's overnight. :D

I booked a room at Otel Apartelle. This was my first time to scour through the intimidating lists of possible places to stay at a particular place. During trips with my other set of friends, I just wait for the organizer to get the itinerary done. Then, I just pay the amount required from me. :p Therefore, I was really anxious on how I could find the best and the most affordable place to stay at. :p One big factor to consider is the proximity of the place from the event. I am expecting that the festival would last until very late at night and I wouldn't want us to stay too long outside just because we are still travelling back to our place. Luckily, Otel Apartelle is just one jeepney ride away from the venue of the festival. There's a jeepney terminal in front of SM Pampanga with a "Dolores" sign that goes to St. Jude Village. From the entrance of the village, Otel Apartelle is just a 5-8 minute walk away. d(^___^)b

We boarded the Victory Liner bus at Cubao terminal at past 11am. We arrived at SM Pampanga around 1pm, very hungry and looking for a place to eat our late lunch. Then, we checked-in at Otel Apartelle at 2pm and I was very happy to find that the room we got satisfied my barkada. :p While I was unlocking the door, I was seriously hoping that everything is just what they wanted the place to be. :p

Our room's window is directly above the Otel Apartelle sign. Haha. :D

Random: Pieces of Me

Pieces of me are scattered anywhere.. or anywho? Haha.
Ang ibig ko lang naman sabihin, narealize ko na ang buong ako ay nakakalat sa kung kani-kaninong tao depende sa kung anong alam nila tungkol sa akin. Walang isang taong nakakaalam ng buong kwento ng buhay ko. I guess true naman para sa lahat ng tao ito.

Una, andaming kwento ng mga magulang mo tungkol sa iyong childhood clumsiness, cuteness, ignorance, first schooling experiences, etc., etc.

Tapos paglaki mo, magkakaroon ka ng mga kaibigan. Marami kayong mga magiging kalokohan na tipong ililihim mo sa mga magulang mo. Nasagasaan ako ng motorsiklo noon. Buti na lang hindi malala pero nagkagalos ako sa siko. Ang sabi ko na lang sa mga kasama ko, sikreto lang. Hahahaha. At ang explanation ko sa mama ko, nabundol ako ng mga kalalakihang high school students at napasadsad sa may pader sa tabi ko 'yung braso ko. :)) Mapapagalitan kasi ako dahil naggagala pa ako imbes na umuwi na, ayan, nasagasaan tuloy. Buti hindi talaga grabe. So ayon, natuto tayong magsinungaling at magtago ng mga impormasyon sa mga magulang. Tapos, hanggang sa tumanda nang tumanda.

Nakabuo ka ng circle of friends noong elementary. May tatawagin ka pa ngang bestfriend eh. Andami-dami ninyong secrets pero pagdating ng high school malilimutan na minsan. Tapos may bagong mangyayari sa'yo sa high school na 'yung bagong set of friends mo lang din ang nakakaalam. Tapos ganon din mangyayari sa college. Mga kahihiyan, masasayang katatawanan, kadramahan, paghihirap, masasamang karanasan, kalihiman, etc.

Minsan sa bawat stage, may iba-iba kang image na gustong gawin. O hindi mo sinasadyang gawin, basta nabuo na lang 'yung image mo na 'yun. Na sa case ko, madalas, kailangan ko na lang panindigan. Na nagiging mahalaga na lang sa akin na at least may konting circle of people na nakakaalam ng iba pang forms ni Angelica Salvo Gomez. :))

In the end, pwedeng hindi mo na kilala kung sino ka talaga. Kakatago mo ng mga bagay-bagay. Dapat siya lang may alam, dapat sila lang may alam. O nagkataon sila lang talaga nakakaalam.

So ayun, parang watak-watak ka. :)) Parang para maging buo ka, lahat ng mga taong naka-engkwentro mo ay kailangang magsalaysay ng mga nalalaman nila tungkol sa'yo na hindi alam ng iba.

Pero what if I wanted to be whole? Kahit sa isang tao lang. Kasi parang it's really worth it.
