Mogu Tree Noodle House

October 15, 2013.

Another food escapade with Margot. :D Muntik pang hindi matuloy dahil sa bagyong Santi, which caused everything in her schedule to get adjusted a day later. Haha. :))

This time, being a noodle-lover that she is, kailangang matry namin together ang new noodle house sa Lilac Street. :D Mogu Tree!

And for that, merong dalawang uri - plain at laksa noodle soup. Margot chose plain. :D

Margot.
Busy but happily making choices for the contents of her plain noodle soup. :)
Noodle type choices. :D
Next, pipili ng dalawa or tatlong klase ng toppings. Tig-dalawa ang kukunin for each topping na mapipili. Nakakaaliw silang tingnan, ang colorful. Karamihan sa kanila ay seafoods. From shrimps, crabs, lobsters. Meron ding mushrooms at tofu.
We both decided to have two toppings. Nakalimutan ko kung anong pinili ni Margot. Ako, crab rolls at lobster balls.

Carrot noodles daw. :p

Ito ang buong view ng counter. :D
Drinks. Toppings na nakapatong sa crushed ice. Noodles. Baskets.
Our personal steaming bowl of noodles.
Served hot in a medyo heavy bowl na nakapatong sa kahoy.
My personal soup. :D Yey for the colors. :))
PHP145.00
Margot's creation. :D
PHP 135.00 (?)
:D More colors! :))

HAHA.
Hinati rin sa dalawa 'yung bawat topping na napili;

Super filled ako after finishing the bowl.

Kada Meow's 11th Year Part II: Udderly Delicious Milkshakes and Desserts

A decade and a year of friendship. :)
Nag-celebrate kami ng 11th year at Forget Me Not Cafe and Udderly Delicious.

HAHA. Ang ending, nagkita-kita kami malapit sa bahay. At sabay-sabay kaming nagpunta sa Lilac St.

Transpo courtesy of Kuya Marlon and his awesome tricycle. HAHA. :))

After Forget Me Not Cafe, nag-milkshake kami sa Udderly Delicious. :)

Ang aming mga milkshakes. :9
Ako, Dawn: Premium Ice Cream base, Avocado flavor, No toppings.
Anika: Yogurt base, Mixed Berries flavor, No toppings.
Margot: Soft Serve Ice Cream base, Butter Pecan flavor, Milky Way topping.
HAHA.

Price: PHP105.00 each

Sobrang rich and thick kasi niya. :) Pero sila, nagpangalawang order pa after a while. Amaziingg. :)

Letter from Margot. We each got one from her. :D
SWEETNESS.
Wahaha.
Oo, love letter 'yan. :))

I am so proud of us. :) Thanks for staying and keeping in touch.

Fish and FriesAppetizer. Sinimot talaga namin ito.
Buti saktong four pieces ang fish sticks. d(^__^)b
Price: PHP138.39
Pesto with Tuyo Flakes. Order namin ni Anika. :) SARAPP.
Naamuse kaming lahat sa "antenna" niya. HAHA.
Hindi siya nagsasabaw sa mantika. Good job!
d(^__^)b
Price: PHP111.61
Lasagna. Margot's order. Hindi ko natikman, biglang naglaho eh. :))
Price: PHP102.68
Penne Arabiata. Dawn's order. Meron din siyang amusing "antenna". :))
Pero looking at the picture, mukha nga siyang dry. :p
Price: PHP111.61
Choco Lava. Sweet ending. :)
We looked like na pinagusapan namin ang style ng isusuot naming footwear. :D
I am so proud of us. :) Thanks for staying and keeping in touch.

Kada Meow @ Lilac Street: Casa Feliz

(Please note that Casa Feliz is not situated along Lilac St. :p
Its complete address is at the end of this post. :) )

Last Sunday, September 9, 2012, was another food trip for our Kada. This time, Margot suggested to eat at our dearly beloved city, Marikina. :D
(I don't know for Dawn since she lives farther, but she must also love Marikina City because she keeps coming back to it just to see us. Hehe.)
Margot found a blog site that features eating places in Marikina and she decided that we should give Crazy Katsu and Spartea a try.

After our eventful lunch at Crazy Katsu, we walked to Spartea. Along the way, we saw many restaurants waiting for us to try.

One of them was Casa Feliz. :D
Visiting this pastry shop was not really part of the plan, but since we're really a curious bunch and I desperately wanted to take home something for my mother, on we went into Casa Feliz. :D

So homey, right? :D

After our eventful lunch at Crazy Katsu, we walked to Spartea. Along the way, we saw many restaurants waiting for us to try. Lilac Street is really a food heaven for food trippers.
Anika and Dawn ordered White Winter Melon (they have three winter melon varieties).
Margot tried Kiu Milk Tea.
I am not very fond of milk teas, in fact, I despise them. :))
It just doesn't suit my taste buds.
So I opted for Strawberry Green Tea with Egg Pudding. :)
Strawberry love~~ <3
Kiu Milk Tea is their signature milk tea. It has a smooth texture and a caramelized sugar taste. :) My Strawberry Green Tea has real strawberry bits! :D I am also glad that it went well with the egg pudding. :p

Coincidentally, Anika has been meaning to eat at Crazy Katsu as well but in UP Teachers' Village branch. She didn't know that there is a branch at Marikina until then.
So next to Margot, Anika was second in feeling super excited. :))

Margot, Dawn and I met at my house.
Kuya Marlon, Margot's ever-loyal and ever-trusted transportation service to almost anywhere she wants to go to since childhood, brought us to Crazy Katsu via his Magical Tricycle. :D
We arrived rather early at around 10:50AM and found the place still closed. They open at 11:00AM during Sundays. So we had to stay outside the restaurant and bask in the heat of the sun for several minutes or so. :p
Anika came late because of a family matter (which might involved a lot of packing up and carrying things around because they were transferring to a new village/subdivision) so the three of us decided to go ahead and eat first.

The menu, is comprised of only a few dishes. They even offer only one soup and only one dessert. (And of course, I got hooked into practicing my katakana and hiragana once again. Never mind the kanji. ROFL.) We tried Tonkatsu, Gyoza, Curry Rice and Pudding. :9

.TONKATSU.
This one is a winner. d(^_^)b
Tender meat, breading thickness is just right, plus tasty sauce. :D
