We've always loved peanut butters.
And Edmund loves burgers and has this zealous ravenousness to try all kinds of them. :))
And so, we just had to sample PB Co.'s peanut butter burgers. :9 We found a branch at SM Mall of Asia and decided to try their most basic peanut butter burger - PB Burger Sandwich. Just look at the photo from their website, the peanut butter's oozing. :9
(But peanut butter + mayonnaise? Hmmm, certainly not what you would normally do. :p )
But when the sandwich came at our table...

CORON: Mga Pagkain :9
So sadly, hindi ako kumain nito.
Then, biglang may fried chicken. Haha. Ang out of place niya talaga. :))
'Yung saging kinain nalang namin nung meryenda na. :)
Kahit wala pa rin ang aming inaasam-asam na grilled squid, masarap pa rin naman and enjoy much ang pagkain. Sobrang laking ng setup ng lunch namin from last year. Ngayon kasi, may matino na kaming hapag-kainan. Last year, sa may bangka lang kami at isang medyo malapad na plywood lang ang table namin. Wala pang utensils. :))

At The Mind Museum
During the Ninoy Aquino Day, Edmund decided to go intellectual and brought me at The Mind Museum. When he said we'd go there, I didn't think he was serious because the original plan was to just go to Glorietta until we rode a taxi and he asked the driver to bring us to the place. I felt like I was kidnapped. :))
Upon reaching the museum, he bought our ticket and we ate lunch at Jollibee. Slowly, my excitement was building up already. :D
After some reminders, rules, and all that necessary introductions, the guests were divided into three groups. Each of the group had to follow a guide who, thankfully, would eventually leave you so that you could explore on your own. Whew, that was a good thing because I wouldn't want to just follow and listen to so much nerd talk all the time. :p
The statues were so realistic and eerie.. The details and descriptions of the early humans were faithfully followed - head size, forehead widths, mouths, ways of living, etc. I got frightened at the woman at the rightmost picture. Hehe.
In this part, I was reminded how I used to study the sequence of the things that evolved in the planet Earth. How did I manage to remember them all? However, like all things just memorized just to pass an exam, I already forgot them all. XD
Upon reaching the museum, he bought our ticket and we ate lunch at Jollibee. Slowly, my excitement was building up already. :D
![]() |
We had to wait for a few minutes because our ticket is for the 12NN to 3PM time slot. |
![]() |
About 5 minutes or so before 12NN the guard opened the glass door so that people can already form a line for ticket inspection and validation. |
![]() |
Next, we were also introduced to Aedi (that's 'idea' spelled backwards). She sits at the entrance of the museum and welcomes every guests. :D |
![]() |
FIRST STOP: HUMAN STORY |
![]() |
SECOND STOP: EVOLUTION |
![]() |
THIRD STOP: BERNOULLI'S PRINCIPLE |
Then, for our first interactive exhibit - Bernoulli's principle. :D It's the principle that explains how birds and airplanes are able to fly. It has something to do with the shape of their wings - the air is able to travel more over the top of the wing which then creates more pressure beneath it. The difference in pressure between the two lifts the wing. d(^_^)
![]() |
FOURTH STOP: THE HUMAN BRAIN |
Then we looked into a gigantic exhibit of the human brain. A touchscreen monitor displays the basic functionality of the brain.
![]() |
And look what I found, an explanation on how the brain functions when someone is in love. :)) |

Kada Meow @ Lilac Street: Casa Feliz
(Please note that Casa Feliz is not situated along Lilac St. :p
Its complete address is at the end of this post. :) )
Last Sunday, September 9, 2012, was another food trip for our Kada. This time, Margot suggested to eat at our dearly beloved city, Marikina. :D
(I don't know for Dawn since she lives farther, but she must also love Marikina City because she keeps coming back to it just to see us. Hehe.)
Margot found a blog site that features eating places in Marikina and she decided that we should give Crazy Katsu and Spartea a try.
After our eventful lunch at Crazy Katsu, we walked to Spartea. Along the way, we saw many restaurants waiting for us to try.
Visiting this pastry shop was not really part of the plan, but since we're really a curious bunch and I desperately wanted to take home something for my mother, on we went into Casa Feliz. :D

Kiu Milk Tea is their signature milk tea. It has a smooth texture and a caramelized sugar taste. :) My Strawberry Green Tea has real strawberry bits! :D I am also glad that it went well with the egg pudding. :p

Coincidentally, Anika has been meaning to eat at Crazy Katsu as well but in UP Teachers' Village branch. She didn't know that there is a branch at Marikina until then.
So next to Margot, Anika was second in feeling super excited. :))
Margot, Dawn and I met at my house.
Kuya Marlon, Margot's ever-loyal and ever-trusted transportation service to almost anywhere she wants to go to since childhood, brought us to Crazy Katsu via his Magical Tricycle. :D
We arrived rather early at around 10:50AM and found the place still closed. They open at 11:00AM during Sundays. So we had to stay outside the restaurant and bask in the heat of the sun for several minutes or so. :p
Anika came late because of a family matter (which might involved a lot of packing up and carrying things around because they were transferring to a new village/subdivision) so the three of us decided to go ahead and eat first.
The menu, is comprised of only a few dishes. They even offer only one soup and only one dessert. (And of course, I got hooked into practicing my katakana and hiragana once again. Never mind the kanji. ROFL.) We tried Tonkatsu, Gyoza, Curry Rice and Pudding. :9

CORON: Maquinit Hotspring
*thumbs up*
Tapos tampisaw-tampisaw. Tapos binti... tapos hita.. tapos waist.. then tyan..

Ano kayang iniisip nila bago pa sila naging magulang.
Anong kayang gusto nilang maachieve at naisipan nilang maging ama at ina.
Bakit ganoon..

Mega Food Sale at Gotti's Ristorante
Mega Food Sale 2012! :D
Edmund and I went to Gotti's Ristorante for their 50% off on all To Share Pasta. Ordered Seafood Pasta (it's included in their Most Wanted list) with a regular price of 300Php - so 150Php na lang. Yey! (thumbs up!) Wasn't able to take a picture, though. >.< Ang dami niyang shrimps at may limang tahong. :9
For dessert, we tried Tartufo Nero. :9 Dark chocolate gelato with brandied cherry and nut in the middle and served with chocolate syrup. Saraap din! :9
